Hi,
just wondered what adhesion promoters your all using for the headlights.i.e. before painting the headlight black lines.
I have some PPG adhesion promoter for plastics but unsure as this needs the substrate to be lightly scuffed, and obviously scuffing the plastic isnt cool.
Needed for the weekend so any pointers would be great.

I did mine a couple of weekends ago. I very lightly, grade 400 wet and dry, scuffed the perimeter and then used some Sikaflex primer. It's think its the stuff they used in the factory becuase it comes out just the same, like a thick paint that drys very quickly. Once on, the scuff marks disappear. Then just put he headllight cover back on with the normal Sikaflex. Worked a treat for me.

Yep - that's the stuff although I managed to get some off of eBay for about £12. If you live in Bucks area, I've got enough left over if you want to pick it up.
