Hi all, having just bought a T350t, I'm getting prepared for the distinct possibility of a flat battery by getting an Anderson cable and battery starter. Anyone got any suggestions for a decent battery starter - I've no idea what the amps are required to crank start a SP6 engine - I don't want to pay the earth for it and don't need any fancy bits on it, but do want something that will do the job without fuss when I need it.

Any suggestions/recommendations welcome

Thanks!

Do you have a power socket in your garage?

These are good if you have a power socket, me boss uses them to start his land rovers and even his tractor

Point being if you have a power socket then you use a trickle charger and never worry about jump starts...

I have an excellent battery starter ( Halfords) bout it won't start the Sag if the battery goes down ( or the 3000M but that's usually as the battery is below 5v when they don't work anyway) - so the solution is Anderson connector and jump it off another car.

Thanks guys. I won't be garaging the car so trickle charging isn't really an option. I could get something that uses mains power, but having a portable option would be nice.

Does anyone know what the minimum ampage is required to start a 3.6S SP6 engine, so I know I'm getting something man enough for the task?

Thanks again
