If my mods don't appeal to you, then skip this topic.

I've been driving the Sagaris now few a few days with my various mods enabled to see how they work and decide which ones to change if needed.

The carbon brakes work very nicely. They do seems to have a nice bit of extra bit that is useful around here - especially this morning with a nice little tractor - great work, John M!

Not had a chance to try the new lifter kit yet, but will be able to try that out tomorrow assuming the weather is dry.

The curvy pedals seem to make the changing and braking easier somehow. Can't say that for certain, but much smoother than I remember the old system to be.

Not been able to really push the engine yet due to running her in, but the pull seems a lot smoother than the old engine and more capacity on tap. Looking forward to when the run in is done and she's been over to Dom for the remap.

Drove back from work tonight and the automatic headlights kicked in very nicely both in the tunnels this morning and in the dark tonight.

The best difference however was the interior lighting changes. I was actually able to see in the car to get to my keys and get the laptop etc out. They really make a much better difference. For a comparison I waited for the interior lights to go off and then enabled the main old interior light. Bloody thing look like a pathetic candle and didn't light up anything. It might sort of work in total blackness, but it is generally functionally pointless in dark twilight. So glad I did that interior lighting change now.

Oh, and the TPMS identified a slow puncture. Looks like I picked up a nail somewhere...

So, those are my thoughts so far.

If there was any one mod I would suggest to people, it would be the interior lighting changes. It is the most notable practical difference.

Hi

That's rather difficult as there have been a number of them and they are spread out a bit.

Easiest day is to look through my posting history for posts I have started that have titles related to the mod you are interested in. Best way really.

Thanks!

Had a trial yesterday of the new wiper control system + a replacement rear view mirror which is clearer, just very, very slightly larger and integrates auto-dimming plus anti-dazzle systems.

Definite improvement over the old mirror.

All run-in issues now sorted and driving the car to complete engine run-in which is also nearly finished.

For those who requested the details of the mirror, here they are...

1 - Mirror was a Gentex Auto-dimming rear view mirror with compass
2 - The mount used was a Gentex universal mount with the following mods to fit it to the existing TVR mount...

The TPMS system is an S&T TPMS 1209A. Comes from China and is a fairly good system. Obtained via a distributor
who specialises in TMPS systems.

All that work and you've still got the old wipers eek. The easiest and most effective upgrade, visual and practical, that you can make are flat blades.

Thanks for the info on the TPMS Alex

I use Bosch flat blades on the Tam and look much better than the1950's style meccarno scaffolding blades of the originals

Don't forget you'll need to integrate a washer system. Unfortunately mines a bit of a hybrid at the moment as the all in one replacement blades with attached low profile washer unit were the lowest quality Chinese rubber possible and melted to the screen! However before they got too hot they looked and worked really well. I'll post some pictures when I get the car back from a Tall Bloke in Norfolk on Saturday.

Lindsey who owns the Sagaris in Sydney came up with a nice mounting solution for hidden washer jets pointing up from under the bonnet.

Hopefully he will see this and post some pictures!

I had washer jets put in the traditional place on the bonnet on both T350 and Sagaris. Major improvement.

Hi Alex,

You've definitely inspired me to get the interior lighting mods done in my T350C. Mine doesn't have an interior light what-so-ever so getting into it in the dark is a task within itself especially with no garage lighting.

I sat in a Lotus Evora a few days ago for the first time and it truly is a lovely feature!

Cheers!

Matt

Cool! If you need any pointers or info on what you are planning to fit, let me know.

The footwell lights are relatively simple to do, the Evora LED stripes need a trim to fit into the door cards...

Also just came across this seller on ebay while looking for something..

http://stores.ebay.com/MY-HAMEL-MOTOR-ELECTRONIC-P...

Bunch of interesting gizzos for sale including some snazzy TPMS systems. They don't look as well integrated as the one
I have, but functionally they are the same and have much better displays.

They do look like AM kits though. You'll understand if you see them.

The voice warning one maybe good if you aren't interested in any obstructive displays
