Sagaris exhaust options
Discussion
As my car has de-cats On the standard system it can sound very raspy and not very tvr like at high revs,
What I want is a deeper more burbly sound but not boomy.
I'm aware of the ACT option with the 2+1/4" system and cans that's been developed so its not boomy and removes the silencer box.
I'd like to know what other options are out there and if poss links to different systems would help.
Cheers

I've got Clive's mark 1 version fitted before he made up his cross over pipe.
Basically, the back box is cut open, the existing restrictive pipe work cut out, replaced with two perforated pipes, and lots of wadding added. Result, a very deep bassy sound and lots of pops and bangs, sorry, mini explosions with the larger diameter end cans

I like the backslash on those Nigel would be interesting to see how they compare to the ACT System!Basically, the back box is cut open, the existing restrictive pipe work cut out, replaced with two perforated pipes, and lots of wadding added. Graham, I have the ACT exhausts which get rid of the back box. Original 2.5" tail cans far too boomy, now have 2 1/4" cans for possibe track use, they're a lot quiter and deep. I'm running original Sag cans which sound superb if a little loud! You can try the 2 1/4" cans if you wish.

Another vote for the ACT system here - no cats though. Ignore the quality of the video, and it sounds like this. Crappy video.
Video camera was about 5 metres back from the car.
