Speed 6 oil pressure sender

Looking at the spec of the new type sender, can any one give a reason why this wouldn`t fit and work on the Speed 6?
Don`t want to pay TVR tax for the sake of it

It may fit, it may tell you what pressure the oil in your engine is at.

But it may also fail and mislead you, I hear what you are saying about tvr tax but I also dont think it is worth scrimping on one of the most important senders on your engine.

A dodgy fuel level sender will leave you on the side of the road, a dodgy oil pressure sender lead you to a rebuild.

Just buy a VDO sender unit German quality and will work,theres no black art about oil pressure sender units . Get the old one out and it will tell you some where on the casing what pressure you need there's plenty of kit car accessory companies that sell them Europa or even Rally Design

I've used plenty of different sensors. The only one i ever had a problem with was a TVR one!
