hi

just got me a lovely t350 red rose with the 4.0 sag lump in it apparantly.

heres the thing.. feels.. slow.

ive still got my tuscan (in classifieds) and she feels wayyyy faster than this ?

ive had the throttle bodies balanced but on looking the last service was don by a bmw dealer and im guessing they wouldnt check valve clearances.

what are the symptoms of the valves closing up.

im guessing power would be down, but is there anything else, the engine is noisy when cold but lovely when hot and they all seem to be rattly when cold anyway..

the only other thing i can see is my idle is poor... sometimes.. just low and sometimes lumpy, or shell stall on full lock or when the ac cuts in.

ill get me chq book shall i ..

Here is one of many responses you will get, which you will have to decide if its completely worthless drivel or of value tongue out

Check your coil pack smile mine felt sluggish many months later after a remap. It also stalled occasionally on startup, idled low and stalled a few times driving. Once coil pack replaced...hello power!!!!!!!! Simple to replace and one of many things you can check yourself smile

Could it be a combination of bad Gearbox/Diff ratio?
