What's this then? On the way home today enjoying the sunshine the dash pops up with error code 19 petrol sensor? When pulling away there was a lul and then the car shot forward...not unlike a sticking throttle I guess? Other than that the car drove fine...

Is it a faulty lambda sensor?

Sure it's been done before but for future convenience has anyone got a list of error codes and what they are?

Thanks in advance.

It won't be the lambda. Send me your email and I will send the list later. Can't remember what it is though.

Thanks Shep - tried to email you last night but my iphone wasn't playing ball?

Cheers for the codes - so are the top ones error codes and the bottom ones fault codes - assume they are different?

Looking at it my error code 19 it a diff temp issue....if you had asked me before this happened if my car had a diff temp sensor I would have said no! I know it was hot yesterday but not that hot! What are you supposed to do when this happens....pull over and wait a few hours?

I fired the car up this morning and its gone (as you would expect I guess).

Thanks again

Very often the correct response - well done you've fixed it wink

An error code means that the parameter being measured is out of accepted range (driver's door open, water temperature too hot etc.) A fault code means the sensor is returning inappropriate data (usually, but not always, meaning there's a problem with the sensor/its wiring).
