I'm new to the forums and currently looking for a T350. I noticed, that the seats of some cars kind of lean towards the inside of the car. As i've only seen this on T350s, not on Tamoras i guess its due to the seats colliding with the roll cage if slid back to their farthest positon.
Now i'm wondering which part of the seat gets bent as the seats won't revert back if positioned more towards the steering wheel. Meaning something must have been twisted permanently - i guess its the joint between the seat and the backrest. Would be interesting to know if this can be fixed.

Could someone comment on this? I haven't found anything about this on the forums...but could've just overlooked it though.

Cheers, Robert

Hi,

To my knowledge, they are meant to be positioned in this way, they are not bent. I'm sure one of the more technically inclined brotherhood will either confirm or shoo shoo my comment smile

yep, there's a stack of washers under the outside runners. Some owners have removed them. Or I guess it may be less obvious if a larger driver has shaped the seat base.

I drove one of the very first Tamora's and could'nt get on with the seat headrest part tilting forwards as it kept knocking on my head, I told them about this and it seemed I wasn't the only one to comment on this. I have since been in one of the latter Tamora's and T350's and they were fine, so now I'm wondering if they changed the seat angle latter on in production.

The washers are used to tilt the seats in on the Tamora otherwise they tub on the targa which make a right annoying twittering sound as you drive along!

Thanks for the infos. Good to know.

But if they were meant to be angled towards each other with washers, i'm wondering why they sometimes had different angles even inside the same car.
So if this is the case, someone might have forgotten to properly install the seats back again after removing them, i guess. ;-)
