If you check on the front page of the Owner's manual - PW DEFINITELY says that you should be driving everywhere like your hair's on fire. I think that's what it means anyway....

Woah, woah. Nobody is suggesting you should drive fast. You should drive appropriate to the conditions. It's just that the conditions surrounding "exiting the pub car park", "making due and proper progress through a deserted industrial estate" and "resuming autoroute speed following any and all stupid peage barriers" are NOT consistent with tyres lasting longer than a US presidential term.... Smooth is Fast.
