17 Sags for Sale !!!
Discussion
Hard to know if this is a good or bad thing. For a buyer, probably the best choice there has been for a while but for the seller, more competition so perhaps not as easy to command a top price?
If I am going to make my move on one, now may be the time - the Laser Blue one would top my list ( naturally
) but it is still hard to consider over doubling what my T350 is worth currently.

Don't get me wrong, I really miss my old Sag and sence of occaision it gave when driving it because it looked wild and was so rare but the tappety speed 6 engine with its lack of torque really lets the car down IMHO. If it had a LS* engine in for example (as others have done) I personally think it would make the car into something worthy of the high prices they are currently commanding.
I can see prices starting to fall south before very long and stabilise around the mid £40k's for standard cars.
Does anyone have any idea what will happen to TVR prices in general when they start making them again - Albeit completly new models?

My crystal ball is cloudy....
Seriously, I would have to think long and hard about spending anything more then £75k on a TVR - old or new. As the Sag is insured for more than that (not my valuation, the insurance company), it's difficult to see how it would de-value from present - especially as it is the 'poster' car of TVR, so few numbers, and collectors have started looking at them.
How the new TVRs will fair or change the value - God only knows.

It seems Sag prices are a very popular subject on pH and owners of Sags are a very lucky bunch as I can only see prices going up in the long run, to build a new Sag now would cost near £100k, Don't get me wrong, I really miss my old Sag and sence of occaision it gave when driving it because it looked wild and was so rare but the tappety speed 6 engine with its lack of torque really lets the car down IMHO. As for the lack of torque from the standard engines, that has been addressed in spades by the power 4.5ss,
I still can't think of another car I would rather have for £45/60k
Sag every time especially if its got a upgraded six in it.
