Not particularly relevant to T350's but anyone noticed the lack of good quality adverts for T350's - poor descriptions and lack of pictures

Makes the job of looking a bit more tricky especially when not many cars for sale are local

Hi Clark,
I think you mentioned it was only a targa you were after?? If so I'd be at the very least on the phone to the dealer selling this one - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t... along with maybe a call to Str8 Six and Power to get a feel for the last service along with details from Dom as to what the engine rebuild consisted of and why it was required.
Laser blue is a stunning colour and whilst it's 6 months due a service it's only done just over a thousand since the last one. The ad doesn't mention air-con so you may want to check on that.

Hi Clark

Good to meet up with you on Thursday, hope you enjoy the hunt for your new T350. Colour wise I may be a bit biased on the one suggested by Tony but it does look good. As said have a word with Dom about the rebuild, he's a good guy but be prepared for some p**s taking. Also see if you can find out about the clutch, 10,000 seems relatively low. It could be the photo, but the despite talking about discolouration to the drivers footwell, the passenger side looks as if it may have water damage. Could be as simple as forgetting to close a window when it rained but worth looking at. I don't know if it is a common thing or not but the glove box lid looks well out of shape.
A set of mats and some repair work to the glove box are minor works though so long as the car stacks up mechanically. Would much rather have a mechanically sound base and work on the cosmetics as needed.
Not to far to go and view either, I am no mechanic but will glady have a look with you if you want although I am sure some of the other local guys with a much better knowledge than me would be willing to help you out.
Kev

Looking at the one put up by Billy No Brakes perhaps a lot of them have a poor fitting glove box lid.

Depends what's in the glove box to make it ill fitting

But the engine has still got a warranty by TVR power if I,am reading it right but I wears specs and just got back from a session in the pub so have two excuses

Definately says that it has a Power warranty until Feb 2014 so that is one to give a bit of confidence to a prospective buyer.
Not my cup of tea on the interior but we all like different things.

Hi Gary

For me there is too much red in there, I would look to do the same to the seats as you have on the mats ie dark grey with either a red piping, inserts or stitching.
Would have to see how much it would be to do similar to the rest but thats just me I don't do red interiors.
Pleased to see the repair is progressing well.

Cleggy,

You know your stuff & know how to sort things yourself Don't be too worried about condition service history is king though.Targas are like an honest politicians very, very rare. I bought my Tamora at a very, very good price it need things doing which were easy to sort the car has been fine with no issues over the last 9 k miles in 2 years ...it left me a lot of budget over which was invested in a new 4.3 from TVR Power which was installed a couple of weeks a go...next on the list a new flip paint job

If you see any cars upt norf give me a shout and I'll come with you. I'm actually going to the next local TVR club meet which will be a 1st so I'll ask to see if there's any targas up for sale I'll drop you a mail via the WSCC

Long live the finest car club the WSCC!

I agree with Kev, tone the red down - maybe with new carpets and it'll look a lot better. My seats are red but carpets are grey and the leather has flint inserts - pic on my profile should give you a better idea.

Had a look at your interior and I was thinking along those lines but the grey on top of the dash and the seats grey swabs
