Hi

looking to enter the world of TVR ownership and have been heavily focused on Griff research (love the V8 burble) although I always said I would consider a Tamora.

None of the Tamoras for sale really caught my eye until this one popped up at TVR Mads http://www.tvr-mads.co.uk/CU05ODR.html

Wondered if anyone knew it or had any opinion - is the fact there have been 4 owners anything to be wary of?

cheers
Mark

Stunning looking thing. MADS have a good reputation here from what I've seen....

Looks lovely. It is in the upper end of Tamora prices so you should be expecting it to be almost perfect.

I'm not bitter about selling mine at what seems to have been their lowest point at all.

Really, I'm not.

I looked at a Tamora that exact colour that James had for sale a few years back, think it was RX04 ECT or similar, absolutely stunning in the flesh and I think that colour combo really suits the car. Wish I had bought it back then!
I wouldn't hesitate buying from there too.

Thanks guys

I've deduced that the reg is CU05 ODR if that helps anyone identify any history or has any knowledge. I believe it was once sold by James Agger

cheers again

I bought a Tamora from James last year and X-Works, at Kirkham, do any work for him.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again and would use X-Works too for any jobs on her.

Three months warranty is useful too.

If you want even more peace of mind, why not ring X-Works and ask them about it. They are really helpful guys.
