Hi,

I've had my T350 about 8 weeks now, and no real issues until tonight.

Turned the switch for the headlights, all the LEDs around the switch lit up, but no head lights. So I got out the car and walked to the front, and just the side lights were on, then all of a sudden the main head lights came on too, problem solved I thought. A few hundred meters down the road they go out again, side lights still on, rear lights on, but head lights out. Again, while standing at the front of the car they come on. Out they go again, but I am only 50 meters from home this time so not a problem.

Any ideas where to start with this?

Thanks,

James

There are many on the forum better qualified than me but it sounds like the relay contacts may be dropping out. Perhaps the relay coil is dying?

Try swapping the relay to see if that helps?

One of the headlights in my Sag had a similar issue once, just kept switching off. Cleaned all the contacts, did not seem to help. Then it just cured itself magically, like most TVR electrical issues.

Must hav been that tme of month...

Not much help to you though. frown

Thanks for the replies. I haven't had a chance to have another look yet. The car is already booked in with Taylor TVR for some body work and MOT, so I will probably let them have a go. I will report back, just in case anyone else suffers with it.

Required some soldering in a box behind the dash, so well out of my league.
