I am considering changing my Wedge (450se) for a Tamora ( http://www.racinggreencars.com/car-sales/TVR-Tamor...). Comments please.
If you believe a lot of what you read on PH you will be buying a ticking time bomb were the engine will self destruct after 30 seconds and the rest of it will fall apart around you.
In reality you will get a lovely handling car, it will have totally different driving characteristics than you are used to, less torque so will need to be revved a lot more. Not everyone likes the look of the Tamora, but you aren't everyone so that shouldn't come into it.
Only potential issue is luggage space when you have the roof panel in the boot but if that isn't a problem for you then it looks to be in good nick, good colour and with a warranty so why not give it a go.

Luggage space is fine I did 10 days with a passengerand 2 Hugh holdalls touring Europe there's plenty of additional space on the ledge behind the seatsThe only down side as we discovered going over the Stelvio Pass was the sudden down pour of Hugh hail stones mingled with sleet.....by the time we'd emptied the boot toget the roof panel out the storm had passed and we were p*ssed wet through....but our friends thought it was highly amusing as their electric roofs went into operation!
Other than that make sure you get a roof panel bag to protect the roof when it's stowed in the boot

Differences between the two are staggering-to be expected I suppose given the difference in time between them.The Tam just feels better screwed together, the handling is in a different league to a wedge, the engine.......I think that's down to personal tastes, personally I like the sounds of both the 6 & the V8. If pushed ,I'd say the 6 is better.
Being a bumbling old fart with a dodgy back i am probably in a minority of one here, but I find the Chimaera and most of the older car seats really pretty comfortable, and have never found any of the T cars or the Sagaris at all comfortable. Not even sure about the Cerbera. Just glad to get out of them after 30 seconds.
Which is irrelevant, except to say do make sure you actually like driving it before you buy. I also hate the floor hinged pedals.

Thank you for all your posts. Driving position is the first thing I try. The Tamora was not good. Contrary to Peter Wheeler's philosophy, I am only just over six feet and could not fit in it, unless I took out the seat cushion. The salesman started talking about putting in a thinner cushion. The finish was not good as you can see from the web picture of the glove box cover. So it looks like I have to revert to other options to continue my driving enjoyment, even though I am an old fart as well.
I see you've already been the Griff route, and a 500 at that. I was about to offer you a ride in my 500 Chimaera, as I am 5 miles north of Essex right this minute. But it's raining and I still have my 888s on from yesterday. 
There are some good Cerberas on Classifieds at the moment, and if yesterday at Snetterton is indicative, you won't be short of power and performance in one of those.

I had a Tamora a few years ago and, despite also being over 6ft tall, didn't have any problems with the driving position - even with the seat squab in place. Actually, now that I think about it, I did initially think that the headroom was lacking but that was because I did my usual and immediately pushed the seat as far back as it would go. With the result my head hit the roof bar. However, given the pedal box is adjustable, a much more comfortable solution is to position the seat forward a few notches and (if necessary) adjust the pedals to provide a bit more legroom.Problem solved and, with the benefit of hindsight, a better driving position anyway.
I strongly recommend you don't give up on the Tamora without trying this. I only realised after I'd sold it how much I missed the sheer occasion of it. I now have a Tuscan S, which is great, but I still have a soft spot for the oft-overlooked Tam.

At 6'6" I have managed to set up the Tam to be absolutely fine. More comfortable than my Chim and certainly more headroom than the standard targa top Tuscan on which the curvature of the roof panel takes out some of the headroom.
Fantastic car more of a sports car and less of a tourer that the Chim or Tuscan. Totally underrated.

Henry when you say the driving position wasn't good you failed to explain in any detail why? I'm 6ft 2ins and like to sit low in my cars and with the Tamora it's easily achievable the pedals are on the middle setting and the seat has 1 notch to go on the seat sliders before it hits the bulk head behind the seats. When I'm comfortable i can just see over the top of the dash! i can't see how you can not achieve the correct driving position. I'm assuming you sit bolt up right in the seat with the seat back at 12 o'clock and your eye line is looking directly at the top of the screen...abit like Ed China in a lotus élan lol,;)
