O.K gang

Will keep it simple and on subject. If I was to decide to sell my Sag engine and modified gearbox, can you please offer me advice on were would be the best place to advertise this stuff, how much you think I could get if I was in NO RUSH to sell and also would I be best to leave it all in car for purchaser to witness all working Ok or should I just remove put on shelf and put up for sale on the basis that any parties interested can talk to my mechanic for proof of reliability etc.

For the record the engine gets a 12k service every year, all warming up procedures always followed, no expense ever spared on my car and a pretty low respectable millage of 20,000 miles. All service history and receipts available. Also didi I forgrt to mention it's the engine that belong's to that all famous Racing Green YouTube car. Hopefully that puts a few more £££££ to the asking price.

As I know you will all ask WHY, I fancy an LS7 or LS9 or something different, quite like the Jaguar supercharged engine if possible, who know's. On a genuine note, if you guys know anyone who is intrested in the engine and gerabos please do get in touch.

Thanking you all in advance

Ridds will come and get you :P Whats the modified gearbox, as in, what's been modified? Personally, ebay, tvr forum, and pistonheads, there isn't really anywhere else.

Had some mods done to my Gearbox by Str8six, some sort of sport mod. I will post more details when I get my hands on receipts and can report on the exact modification. Have just recently relocated offices etc so paper work is all over the place at the moment. Lets just say it was a load of money and it feels superb next to my old a standard box!

Close Ratio maybe? Many T5's are upgraded now, with better parts etc.

I believe there's a new version of the LS engine coming out in early 2014 with direct injection ultra modern trick ecu with low emission and 25mpg with 428 bhp and lots of other euro touches I think they were going to call it the LS2c and will be fitted in a lot of the GM yank tanks and Holdens

Personally I'd go down the jag route

In answer to the original question, I stuck my old engine up on here, and was brought fairly quickly by a name dealer (I then got another call from another one after it).

Price it appropriately, and it will go quickly.
