Tamora rear badge

The badge/boot release on my newly acquired Tamora doesn't have a clear covering on it, should it? It looks a little faded so I may change it, I did see a post somewhere referring to a company that makes custom badges to order, any ideas and as a boot opening badge is it different in any way?

The originals were cast and can still be had for about £60. Levern will refurb them for about £50 IIRC which includes a rein dome. The stick on resin badges can be had for £10-15 which rather handily fit the existing badge plinth and can be customised. Personally I like the cast badges but that's just my opinion

Racetech & Racing green both have them on their websites. I got mine from Racetech in gold, was about £85 inc postage I think. Was a couple of months ago. I have my silver badge somewhere that's stillin good nick, just wanted a gold badge as it better matched the new paint job.
