I'm a recent Sagaris owner, hence the questions.

Having parked up tonight, I notice after switching the engine off the nearside cooling fan continues to run. The water temperature was around 90 and I left it for a while but when it got down into the 60's I disconnected the fan so it did not discharge the battery.

I'm guessing I have a faulty temperature sensor or dodgy connection, but am not sure why only one fan is working and I would have thought the fans would switch off once the ignition is turned off, like in the Griff.

Before I start investigating, and I don't want to go to far down this avenue as its under warranty.

Is it normal for the fans to come on separately and if so at what temperature are they supposed to kick in?

Is / are the fan/s supposed to run after the ignition is switched off?

Any help / suggestions would be appreciated

Unless someone's modified the standard set up both fans should go off with the ignition off.

They do come on at seperate temps. There is an exact temperature but mine come on at 91 and 93 ish.

Thanks Matt, now really confused.

Temp down to 52, reconnected fan and its still working!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if there is a mod to allow the fan to continue with the ignition off or any suggestions as to where I should look?

Could be a faulty air-con trinary switch.

Re-seating the fan relay appears to have sorted it for now, guess it might be worth getting a spare relay.

Sounds like an excuse to get it good and warm tomorrow to see if it reoccurs.

Thanks for the info and suggestions
