Parked my car up in the garage yesterday after a little warm up run and noticed today that there is a small amount of oil left on the garage floor. Have put a drip tray down to see how much it's dripping but does anyone have any ideas where to start looking or if this is common?

Seems to be from the front area, I don't have a ramp but it to be in line with the front roll bar area. Hoping it might be a hose and not a bearing or something massive!

Sump washer would be the place to start, have seen that a few times before. Easy fix but have to drain the oil.

Also, if it is the front crank seal, if it could be, is this a massive job?

If I had car lift I would probably try something like this myself, but I might have to give it to Racing Green to sort out as they are my closest specialist.

Maybe an oil hose weaping where the hose and end fitting join.

Wrap some kitchen towel around the ends and start it up.

Easier to see with bonnet off also engine mount may have gone allowing oil pipe to rub through on cover plate.

Well I did mine easy enough a few years back, some say its an engine out job as the harmonic balancer cannot be removed due to the length of the bolt.
But it can with a little bit of wiggling and moving the engine up and down a bit.
I made a removal tool for the balancer as normal ones didnt quite fit.(well mine anyway)
There is a walk-through somewhere on here, I remember there was some debate as to if it could be done.
I also replaced the other oil seal too, parts from Power about 40 quid for both.
