Evening all
Time has come to replace the tyres on my t350c.
Currently have Eagle f1 fitted all round in standard sizes.
Should I fit Toyo r1r......more F1 or Ad08 or...... Oh god help.
Fronts are 225/35
Rears are 235/40
Should I stick to these sizes or 225/40?

I know someone who has been running R1Rs on a 330 bhp Chimaera. Swears by them and never has to take a second set of tyres to a track day. I drove his car on the track in the pouring rain and the stopping power was excellent. Grip good too. Close to R888 standard in the dry, and good grip levels in the wet.
I'm in the process of having R1Rs fitted to my T350 F-225/45/18 and R 255/35
PHer Darkmark07 (Mark Wheeler) runs them on his 350 and has a lot of praise for them, as does our mutual mechanic Mat Smith.
There a a couple of rubbing issues on some cars (Marks suffers) but others have no problems - mainly only when travelling at speed over bumpy roads.
Personally I can't wait to try them and see just how much extra grip they do generate.
They are expensive but I only do 5k a year so replacing every 2 years isn't going to break the bank.

Hi
I have run R1R's on my T350 for over three years now.
255/35 on the rear and 225/40 on the front. These offer amazing grip and have had some hammer but have still lasted three years and around 12k with 3mm left on the rears.
Rear inside and front offside do catch sometimes with a passenger in under load round corners but on my own I have no issues.
I will be fitting them again.
Cheers
Lee

Think it might be every three years to replace them - I seem to remember Phazed saying his lasted 15k miles plus, and as said before, he tracks his car.PHer Darkmark07 (Mark Wheeler) runs them on his 350 and has a lot of praise for them, as does our mutual mechanic Mat Smith.

Am seriously considering them myself for when my R888s finally expire in about two track days time. I will use them for road, dry track and wet track use. The only warnings i got were that they are similar in compound to a wet race tyre, so can tend to overheat slightly on hot days of prolonged track driving, and while they are good for dry grip, they are not 888s even though they are a similar compound. Oh, and don't spend a long time on them on the rolling road trying to sort out your mapping issues as they could overheat.
But you won't encounter any of these issues on the road.

At least you should not suffer from catching the inner wings by sticking to the 235/40 on the rear!
