Mine are looking a little rusty - the ones around the TVR horn push on the steering wheel - what size are they and is there a 'recommended' place to order some replacements? Preferentially shiny ones!

Ditto the wheel nuts too come to think of it smile

Once someone comes along with the correct size just get on ebay and order some! (possibly M5 / M6 but not sure of the length.
The Leven ones were very expensive for what is merely a counter-sunk allen screw!

I *think* from memory they are M5 dome head for the Trek R wheel (or countersunk if you have the std wheel) bolts 16mm length. I have used this company many times on the bay of flees to replace all the nasty bolts on my car - cost about £2 for 10 bolts http://stores.ebay.co.uk/A-BOLT-FTB?_trksid=p20476...

Give the bolt a tap before you try to undo it. They can be a sod to get out especially if you round the heads.

Wheel nuts are Jeep fitment 1/2 inch UNF with a 60deg taper. Racing Green have some posh stainless ones for £100 a set or you can get stainless ones off the bay of flees again for about half that but they tend to be stainless capped rather than machined.

Cheaper solution on the wheelnuts is to buy stainless ones from an MGB - available through for example Sussex Classic Car Parts. They have the correct thread and taper as indicated on a previous posting and are solid machined stainless. I have these on my T350C.

Hi - not quite - the part number is AHH9152SS - if you click on MGB + GT on the left and then Road Wheels / Jacks - MGB - it should be about the third item down. They are for the MGB Rostyle wheels. They are solid stainless with 60degree taper seat and correct UNF thread and length. They aren't polished but there are other companies that do polished versions of the same for the MGB, but just a little more money. I've had them on mine for a year and the car sits outside - they're fine and no corrosion/rust or deterioration. I guess you could paint them black or better still use a blacking solution if you needed a totally standard original look - I didn't bother. Don't forget to order 20 otherwise Greg at SCCP will expect to automatically ship 16!

Just a note on Ebay - I think there are still some sellers with metric nuts listed for the TVR apparently - the thread is wrong and the listings are incorrect.
