Hey guys,

I'm on route back to Aberdeen after picking up my Sag this morning.

No:1 - Str8 Six are the boys to take your car too!

No:2 - 4.3 feels nice and smooth

No: 3 - my heated rear screen now works, my air con now works, my clock now works, my door seals no longer leak, lights are no longer misted etc etc

No: 4 - ACT system sounds like thunder. Must have

Love it

Drive carefully it's a rotten day to be driving up to Aberdeen but there is nothing like a long drive whatever the weather when all the little niggles have been sorted and you have just had that wonderfull 4.3 fitted driving

Air con in Aberdeen? wink

Str8six have turned my car from a bag of screws into something quite spectacular. Wise choice sir!

Enjoy!

Oh my testicles! Just filled my pants and pulled a muscle in my shoulder! Just driving through Cumbria, was doing 60 as it's quite wet then without warning I hit 2 inches of snow and go completely broad side up the incline! Managed to dip the clutch and steer out of it though. As I straightened up there were 2 cars in the barrier and the occupants outside!

Close call! No I don't use the air con in Aberdeen but there are road trips where it comes in handy! Lol

Don
They remove the lens and drill a hole in the light body that is unseen to allow air movement.
If you don't want to remove the lens you can drill a tiny hole into the lens as low as possible so not to be to visible.
Little tip ..... Hold a vacuum whilst drilling the hole to encourage the Perspex swarf to come out otherwise you'll end up with it in the bottom of your lights.

I believe Graham Varley's bible suggests you drill at the bottom of the light up through the sika flex ..... Best read that yourself though as I may have misunderstood.

Enjoy the new engine. Our cars must have been in there together. I collected my T350 on Wednesday, complete with a new 4.3. I only had a 30 mile drive home, but the engine already feels special.

How does the price of the 4.3 compare with TVR Power?

Got home safely at about 10:30, killer at 535 miles! At least half the run in is done! Haha

The engine is a bit more expensive than powers, but a bit more goes into it from what I've seen. The newer design block with a few improvements is better, but I believe that supply is running out fast. Better get your order in soon.

So far the engine feels very good, it is noticeably more torquey and responsive at low revs, will hopefully have it run in by end of January and oil change etc done.

Thanks for that, but more importantly, I think we're all relieved you both made it home in one piece - weather and conditions sounded terrible!
