There was quite a few sags bought off the production line when tvr went south not just two as this advert states. Still it is a very nice car but I wouldn't pay a premium based on it possibly being the last/one from last one. There are others.
Mine was taken from the production line also. This is Neils car, it is immaculate and he will have spent whatever is needed to keep it right. If you can afford it and in the market for one of the last Sagaris's then it would be a good car to buy.blackiepaul said:

Hi Paul, there is no doubting it is a fantastic car, it was the emphasis on it being the last of two I doubted.Personally I would struggle with spending 67k on a sagaris. They are nice cars but I can think of better ways of spending 67k in the tvr world.
I must say it looks excellent. Colour great and having a 4.3 is probably what is placing the car at this value. The Sagaris is a rare car and a 4.3 engine car is an even rarer beast.
I am not sure that having one of the last is any better than having one of the first….just having one of these cars is enough. I honestly think that a great example with a 4.5 or even the 5.0 is a £70k ish car. What else comes close for street presence and performance.

I'd have thought there would be more value in the last completed cars to come out of the factory rather than ones finished off afterwards?
I remember two (maybe 3) Sags sitting in Cicley Continental in Preston for several months after TVR went bust. They struggled to sell them because of the uncertainty around support. One was an Arancio Orange car but I can't remember the colour of the others blue and/or black?
Maybe Keith (Glow worm) will remember?

It should be interesting therefore to see what new Sags that are being built/completed now (as in this year) are worth.
Effectively the same thing. Shells that started in the factory and completed afterwards.
Be interesting to see where the chassis etc have been kept/ stored all these years and what condition they are in.Effectively the same thing. Shells that started in the factory and completed afterwards.
