Has the car got a service history, and if you ask a local tvr specialist they might check it out for you, for a price of course It went under a few private plates

Wasn't 100 TVR a demonstrator?
Plate must have been owned by TVR and swapped between demo cars... any excuse for reposting VBH!http://youtu.be/5P6wu4Nqo10

TVR100 was the Factory demo car (and was yellow?).
Correct, although TVR 100 was put on many factory cars for press appearances. It was on both the silver and yellow T350's which made TG appearances. So that plate didn't live exclusively on the Tam.TVRinBFG said:
100TVR was owned by Mole Valley and used on their demo cars, but I think they sold the plate to TVR eventually, although I could be wrong.
I think you may be wrong. In 2004 TVR100 was sold to Mole valley by TVR, so MV actually owned both 100TVR and TVR100. Not sure if they sold them back to TVR at a later date, but I think that's highly unlikely given thereafter all press cars appeared on their actual plates.
