Hi.

Is the T350/Tamora/Sag known to suffer from bump steer?

Not to my knowledge. Before anyway talks about Bump Steer Mods etc just get your geo setup properly if you have doubts! Ride Height, the works, best investment you can make! Simple!

Slow down, these cars do not share the same Geo, Sag is inches different

Oh yes, the Tam does Simon - but only if you have after market wheels with the incorrect offsets fitted?

What's your issue?

Take a look at this thread:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=125...

My T350 handling was certainly improved after the bump steer mod pictured was done, far less twitchy and no tramlining now. The angles of the track rod arms are now parallel with the ground, so in principle the bump steer has been removed as much as possible. I also noted that my car had factory install rack mount spacers, but there was no room to raise the rack any further, hence the "drop" steering arm solution was the only way forward.

This thread is getting silly

1 Sag is in effect different chassis

2 wheel offset has no effect on bump steer, wheel diameter could if it involves a change of ride height

Trouble is people are using the term bump steer to describe a general uneasy feeling in the car over bumps, they don't realise it's a defined technical term in its own right.

That and the steering wheel pulling in their hands over bumps, which does get worse with the wrong offset.
