Afternoon all.
Just checking car over before Le Mans and rear hatch won't open ...
Having read some historic posts , solenoid may just be sticking as car hardly used this year.

Any ideas where it's located please ?

I know the emergency way in , so hatch is manually open - have removed the 2 tonneau cover screws and 2 x side floor screws and peeled back the trim but can't see the solenoid ??

Thought I would ask before pulling at too many random wires !!

Thanks in advance.

Solenoid is on the back on an aluminium plate towards nearside behind carpet , so have to take the trim off with tonneaux screws in the peel the carpet off from the centre tyre foam box to wards the speaker & it's there,

I would check out the switch on the button first though

the button can be temperemental, the contact isn't great. I believe the trick is a sticky pad to extend the connection at the back.

Just a straw worth picking at - my hatch wouldn't open and I was mid way through ripping out half the electrics when I was told to fully lock the car and then unlock and try again! The *!~*ing hatch then worked perfectly!
