Hi guys,

Browsing the TVR classifieds and noticed the T350 up forsale at Mads at the moment. Have had TVR's in the past (S3, Griff 400, Griff 500) and said I'd never have another one given the amount of money I sunk into them at the time but still can't stop myself looking again banghead

Anyone know the car? It's had a 4.3 Power rebuild which really appeals.

Cheers
Graham

I was the owner that made all the mods to the car and sold it a couple of years ago. It was a great car when I sold it.

If you want to know anything specific fire away.

If it's had the 4.3 rebuild, I'd be quick in snapping that up - that rebuild costs around the £10k mark and the engine is as bullet-proof as it can be - plus a lot more responsive with more torque lower down the rev range (so I have been told..)

Thanks guys! Thainy77, thanks for the offer, I've taken look through your profile which is eye opening in terms of running costs although I guess there were all the mods and then the engine rebuild in there. Interesting Mads are claiming 430bhp for the TVR Power 4.3 - is that realistic, sounds high to me?

My S3 and Griff's were fairly reliable and didn't leave me stranded, although there was always something that needed attention. What are the newer T350's like to live with?

Cheers
Graham

The car had 367bhp at the wheels, this was a couple of thousand miles after the initial 1000 mile service after the rebuild so roughly 410 at the fly, i still have the graph.

I was left stranded a couple of times, once for a throttle cable and once for a blown fuse for one of the cooling fans.

I am out of the country for about six months of the year but when i was at home it was my only car and used pretty regularly, i personally think they are better for this.

If i was looking for a TVR again i would definitely buy it back.

This car has been up for a few months now and I cannot understand why.. seems to have good provenance and the Power rebuild surely deserves recognition.

There is a very low mileage Targa up for sale (privately) on Autotrader at the moment in Spectraflair silver. It is a steal at £22k in my opinion, especially considering the TrackVRoad car (same colour, same mileage) is up for £10k more on pistonheads.
