Hi all!
Slowly I'm getting really frustrated...

8 weeks ago, my car broke down due to a clutch failure. Couldn't locate the problem, so I changed the master, slave and the clutch.

It works know, but when leaving the garage, the engine runs quite irregular and the car was jerking.

Drove back home (25km), nothing changed (thought that it maybe has to warm up again completely).

First I tried to set back all those things in the Diagnostic-Software, went out with the software running - no error, but the same problem.

Then I changed all the spark plugs (now on NGK DCPR8EIX) and know it will not longer fire up in any way...

When checking the new and the old plug, there's no spark on both.

Could it be the cranksensor?
Ignition coil?

What do you think?

cheers Josef

The coil pack is something which fails sometimes on these cars and your symptoms sound like it might be this. It think it is a Vauxhall/Opel part.

Never seen a coil pack just 'fail'

Have you checked fuse 17 for the ignition coils? its the 20A second one down from the top on the longer strip of fuses. I would also check the loom plug that connects to the coil to ensure its pushed home fully.

Found the problem...

When the garage put in the new clutch, they forgot to reassemble the earthing cable on the bell housing!

Ignition within 1sec. and runs as smooth as ever...
