Expansion tank coolant hose spec

I need to replace the hose between the swirl pot and the expansion tank. What size inner bore do I need, will go for silicone, is there a particular spec that I need?

I would use the same spec hoses the rest of the cooling system has. ACT has them in the correct fitment for example.
