Any one cut open there standard box and covered up some of the baffle holes to change the sound?

Yes, did mine and although louder ended up with an awful droning noise at motorway speeds so ended up getting a power exhaust and decat, much louder but a miles better sound with no vibration or drone. Perfect.

Just wondered if you could get a sports exhaust sound with out spending 500 bucks!

Buy a second hand back box?

I'm sure my dad paid less than £200 for the JP box on the T350, it was certainly less than £500 anyway as he'd never pay that for anything, biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

I only use the power sports cans for Le-Mans as they do my head in after a week an I hate the drone at 70-80mph. The standard exhaust is normally the way for me... I prefer the induction noise and the sound of the straight six which is much silkier and smoother for me personally

had the power cans on my old t350 and if you drive longer than 1 hour get some earplugs ready.
quite nice to drive of course with lot´s of pops and bangs but by the time it can get noisy wink

not as loud as currently my datsunm with 118db at 3500 rpm but should be in the range of 105-110 and this is still quite a lot.
