Anyone know this Tamora?

I know who's selling it so don't worry about that. I'm more interested in the description which suggests just bodywork damage. Does anyone know this car and whether the description is, ahem, optimistic?

i had a look at this (i think) when it was being sold privately.. it was sold by dean a few years back as a cat d due to dash fire, which was repaired by the new owner. was then hit in the rear and pushed into another car. there was some obvious evidence of earlier repairs around the back with a lot of filler (if you look close at the pics you can see it quite easily
the interior was ok, chassis ok, i didnt hear it run
definitely a project car

it was cat d with the dash fire, and i believe the new owner who got bumped in the rear said the insurers paid out on that....so i don't know how its gone into the auction cycle again...unless some of the info i had was a bit duff.....
its always expensive resurrecting a car to former glory. my view is unless the car has some spectacular provenance or personal attachment, you have to go in with eyes wide open. you could certainly use this as a basis for a project car (t350 or sag type conversion, maybe with a different engine) but thats the only reason to buy it as you it'll never make its money back as a cat D repaired car to std spec, but turned into something more bespoke means you at least have the opportunity to start with something thats already 'tarnished"......
i had considered this as a candidate for a t350 or sag front and rear, but then fell on an undamaged tam with a tired engine for same money and fitted an LS to that, more time goes by the more i like the shape of the tam as is and wouldn't now want to change it.

I personally don't think it's worth that money. It will cost double again just to get it looking straight, I would have thought. Also, where has it been left since the smash, outside, exposed to the elements - would water corrode other parts which in turn need changing?
Nah......
Half decent Tams can be money pits!
