Wrap, Dip or Spray Sagaris

The TopCats LS7 conversion for my Sagaris has now been in for over 12 months and it is truly amazing ….. TopCats have one very happy customer. She has also been re trimmed, re carpeted and re sprayed at the front end etc. Also had the paintwork worked on to give a great shine.
All that done now time to tinker again..I am now thinking of changing the colour. Currently Glo Red, which I really like in certain lights. In other lights Glo Red can look a little dull. So I am thinking of making the Sag a little more aggressive looking with a Dark Grey Matt wrap…..or changing the Glo Red by lifting and brightening the colour.
Options are wrap in Dark Grey Matt, Dip in Dark Grey Matt or re spray in Candy Apple or similar…..what are the views on wrapping or Dipping and do you think Dark Grey Matt will look good on a Sag? Nice and aggressive. Or I could I just leave it.

Leave it tbh, looks great as it is. Personal opinion grey is a little underwhelming but then again I like TVR's bright. I think it would look great with shadow chrome or even darker wheels

the car looks indeed good as it is and when the paintwork is still good I would not change it.
but if you like to make it a bit different, because you got used to the looks, then maybe you can paint or dip the wheels in a bit grey-ish/antracite metallic or whatever come's close (not to dark)

Seen as you don't mind dipping into your wallet if you going to change the colour do it properly and paint it, I see wraps and dips as a cheaper alternative to change a colour but they are not as good as outright spraying it, if you have a 50k car with a 20k engine conversion why would you be bothered about saving a few pounds on changing the colour a cheaper Way, the hard part is choosing what colour, but if you respraying it have it custom like don1 so it's 1 of 1

I am a massive fan of dipping and doesn't damamge paint at all (or i wouldnt do my own sag) - but that's what I do. All I will say is stick with genuine USA dip only, avoid the copies like the plague. All problems on the net are caused 99.9% of time due to use of NON genuine stuff. Same as wrapping, you buy decent film, you get a good job, get a cheap job and kills your paint.

Maybe look at dipped cars first as mentioned earlier there are differences in quality etc. I've seen one and although from a distance it looks great, up close its not as clean lines as paint. Picking the right pace to do it is going to be key as in get references of their work. Similar scenario to a wrap, depends on the finish you want etc and different places better than others. I can recommend a wrapping company who do all the Radicals

This has cleared it for me. Thanks to all for the comments. Alan, I know you do a great job on the dipping front ....and thanks for the mail reply....just don't like the look of the Matt Black now. Sorry for the person who is having it done but I agree these cars need to be bright. The reason I don't really like the Glo Red is it looks dull on an overcast day, so why make a car dull on a sunny day.
So I agree if the paint is good keep it....so that is what I will do...for now. The tinkering bug is however hard to resist. If I do get the colour changed it will be a nice Apple Red or some such.
I just loved the look of a Range Rover I saw in Matt Black/Grey and a Maserati in a reflective blue. All a bit pimp however.

That's what I need to find...a good custom paint job. I do fancy a Candy finish. Red over a silver or gold... but they are notoriouse for getting wrong so a good Pearl may do it. The way it has been told to me is: a wrap is a cheap paint job and a dip is a cheap wrap. I just need a respray that is quality and at a good price.....simple
