Which way round does the window top targa seal go on your Tamora? On mine the 'low' side is on the inside when I got the car. So I fitted new seals the same way round.

But when I saw Lasertam's car last Saturday the 'low' side was on the outside of the car.

Now this seems like a better way round as it would stop the window from pulling outwards in the air stream at motorway speeds.

My car is 2002 and Lasertam's 2005, so is it a model year thing or are my seals just in the wrong way round?

If it doesn't rain at the weekend then I might just swap them round and pop out for a test drive.

Hi Bob,

The wide part goes to the outside. It leaves a gap at the top of the window if you reverse it (well it does on mine).

So that explains the gap on the passenger side that I couldn't adjust out. Thanks for your post.

Looks like I will be changing them round this weekend.

Run a bead of silicone down the Chanel before you put the seal in, it stops it pulling out when you get the targa panel in/out of the boot.

Hi Mike. The luxury targa bag is still working a treat thanks.

I'm adding the Targa seals to my list of jobs for this weekend.
