Hi all. I stripped out the instrument pod to replace the LCD screen with Lee's improved version. All went back together and everything heater wise was running fine.
Fast forward a week to a run out in the wet and the heater starts playing up. Resetting itself to cold. Went over a bump and it came back to selectable hot and cold. Hit another bump and yes it only runs cold now. Just the bottom blue LED lit and the Air Con LED (it hasn't got Air Con) doesn't light up either.
I had the pod off today to re-seat the ribbon cable. No joy in fixing it.
The fan runs fine, but with no air coming out of the screen vents??? I've closed off all of the other footwell vents and run the fan up to max, but still nothing out of the screen vents.
Any suggestions welcomed. It could rapidly get expensive if I have to buy replacement parts to do fault finding.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement ribbon cable? Worth changing it just in case it now has a bad connection from pulling it off the PCB.
