Surprise, surprise!

...yes, my Sagaris will not be along to BHP this year either...
Not a surprise somehow, but although most of it is back together now. It still has slight challenges, like
missing front, seats, lights, etc. Small things like that which are kind of necessary to drive it on the road.
Ho, hum...

I am gutted for you Alex. I was hoping to see the car up very, very close and compare it with all the work that I too have had done !!!!!
Oh well, I am not at all surprised that it's not ready.
Hoping to see you there in person fella, will be great to catch up.
Still trying to work out wether legally I should be displaying my car in the condition that it currently is in.
I will seek legal advice on this one from my solicitor!!!
Either way , I am truly looking forward to seeing you all there, I am not missing this one!!!!
Regards
Chris

I'm happy with what has been done so far. I've been going down
once every few months to see how things are and its come along
quite well. The mods have blended in well together and they
are all unique, but give the car a much better look I think.
I've been putting more stuff in to do above and beyond what I
originally had spec'ed and to be honest, a lot of it is a bit trial
and error to get right, so I'm not surprised it has overrun. The vents
have been redone a few times to work, but they are now looking
very good!
The CF has made the car much lighter and the new bonnet design
is SO much easier to open, looks like the old type, but I won't do
my back in lugging it around!
So me is a happy man.
Given all the travelling I'm doing at the moment to Europe on business,
its fine because I can't use any of my cars atm anyway.
I'm looking at a Marcos project car now. Always wanted to do one, but
not found a non-runner to use as a basis until recently, so Sag will be
going on the back burner for a bit.

Hi Alex
I am genuinely so glad that you are personally pleased with the workmanship carried out to your car. These toys "SAGS" in particular are very, very special cars to us all, especially the owners. And when you lay your trust in a individual or company to carry out work you expect it to be to a very high standard.
In my case things didn't quite work out as they were meant too! I am sure you know the details only too well.
Car is now in storage until legal battle is resolved. Would love to bring the car out to BHP, but to be brutally honest I am embarrassed for my fellow TVR owners to see her in her current state of affairs.
Anyway, on a more positive note, I am so much looking forward to seeing your car Alex, even better will be to get me to test drive it for you and I can give you my top gear analysis. The offers is there my friend.
Look forward to seeing you at BHP.

If it weren't for the fact I've seen it on the road in the past I'd begin to think it didn't exist
Just make sure you use it when it finally comes back.Mine won't be there either as it's now at S&D having a full back to gel respray to sort out a previous mess, very annoying now the sun is starting to come out

Hi Alex
I was waiting for you to mention that it won best Sagaris on the Day.
Firstly I did not enter my car in any competition, FACT.
The wether on the day was pissing down all day, In fact I purchased a huge TVR umbrella from the TVR Owners Club, and I still have the umbrella to prove it.
I recall there being aprox 3 or 4 Sags if my memory servs me correctly.
Apparently, my sources have informed me that Jo public were asked to vote for there favourite SAG and out of the very few selected Sags that were there, I was informed that Jo public voted for my car. NOW lets get a reality check here. 3 - 4 SAGS present, pissing down with rain all day, cars getting battered with heavy rain, doesn't exactly allow one to judge a cars condition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was NOT a best Paint competition, it was which car do you like the best?
Also jo public was NOT asked to judge cars on PAINTWORK, they were simply asked to vote which car they liked the best. So call it what you like, voted best Sagaris on the day, by a handful of individuals walking around in torrential RAIN.
I can only imagine that my car got voted best Sag purely because the colour of my car stands out like a saw thumb and it is a beautiful colour whether in the rain or sun, and not forgetting a handful of sags to choose from.
WOW WEE, I must now own the very best Sagaris in the WORLD!!!!!! I think currently NOT.
Since that show, the cars has developed more faults, to add to the already existing ones that were very present on collection day. In fact so many that we have 2 professional engineers experts in fibreglass confirming the shocking workmanship carried out to my car.
Sorry, I am getting carried away here fella. Must STOP. I simply wanted to clarify a few FACTS!!!!
As stated my car is in storage available for anyone to view via strict appointment only.
Coming back to BHP Alex, I am really looking forward to speaking with old friends and would be great to catch up fella.
See you on Sunday
