Hi!
Last year I installed a new clutch, master and slave cylinder. Did approx. 700 miles in it and now there's leakage somewhere at the slavecyl. area.

I dismounted the complete drivetrain and the bellhousing to have a look at the O-rings.
Optically they look like new ones, so the leakage must be caused by an other part.

I've noticed, that there's a tiny gap between the bellhousing and the red ring(where the 4 bolts will be attached). It seems, that the black inner ring, which will be forced in the bellhousing, isn't pressed in deep enough so there will be contact between these 2 rings, but not plain contact between the housing and the slave(red ring) at the 4 bolt connection points - I don't think, that Raceproved will build a bolt connection with a gap between...

Is this a known issue?

Any other ideas, where the leakage can come from?

cheers Josef

I had my clutch and slave replaced by X-Works around 18 months ago and was advised to stick with the standard slave so don't know if they know any more about them
