TVR T350 holding back, sounds like engine pinking

Can anyone help

I have a t350c, it idles ok, but on acceleration it hold back.
If i open the throttle up you can hear the engine pinking.
Lambda's are new, new fuel filter plugs ect...

its as if some one is twisting the fuel link and starving the car.

Any thought ?

Are you using Shell Optimax (or whatever it's called these days) or equivalent? Many years ago in the days when I used 95 RON fuel I discovered my Tamora pinked under hard acceleration. Since then I've used RON 98 (or 97 with BP Ultimate) and there is no pinking.

its running on 98 optimax, its holding back on power, only running on about 40% power

Disconnected the tps and she runs better on throttle so seems its duff or out of adjustment
