T350 Steering

Just got the car back from MOT. I've been given an advisory on "Play in steering rack inner joint (Driver side)"

Even after looking at photos of the complete rack I'm a little bit confused as to what might need replacing. Could somebody help? Thanks.

Thanks. I'm pretty certain it wasn't the column that was the problem though: it was something to do with play in the R hand wheel that was the issue?

Sorry misread Column for rack. I'd check though yourself. You can grip the lower Uj and rotate it. If the wheels immediately move with the rotation of the Uj then the play probably isn't at the rack.
