I know the T350 is probably the worse for staying cool out of the T cars due to the design of the vents at the front. Was thinking of getting the 'sag' fin mod done but also as a quick win I seem to remember in one post someone suggesting sealing around the rad with pipe insulation to stop/reduce hot air recycling around. I put a torch under my rad and you can see there is a big gap present.

Anyone done this, what exactly do you need to do? Does it need securing with some adhesive/sealant?

Thanks for any help!

Anyone done this to help force cold air through the rad?

Agreed, mine certainly has no gaps.

OP - I've had a slice cut into the underside of the car and a splitter made to force air directly up into the aperture. The air from the sides alone is not a smooth flow and creates a lot of swirling air which isn't ideal for flow through the rad.
What these cars really need though is more help in the engine bay getting the hot air out.

My 2003 T350 with upright radiator has plastic covers on top and both sides of the Radiator which are bonded by the factory. It reduces the free airflow but is not hermetically sealedj.
