Seatbelt Stalk

Fellow TVR owners,

Does anyone know where a replacement seatbelt stalk can be purchased or what car it was originally from?

One of the TVR parts suppliers is selling them but at £45+ it seems a little excessive (Or am I just being a tight Northerner?)

To be fair the one at TVR parts is 39.00 and if you are a club member you get a bit of money off. The benefit I found of this one is that the bolt it comes with it low profile and it means you can easily fit it without taking the seat out. Not sure if this is the same with all the other ones off eBay. But I'd gladly pay £20 extra not to have to remove the seat.

Yeah Ive ordered a pair of these as one of mine is broken.

Im taking the seat out anyhow to give the under seat a good vacuum clean.

Bonus is the new ones are a bit longer and apparently easier to use.

Fits great and is also longer too.

Thread hi-jak ---- when the Tam's roof's down it fouls both seatbelts at the top, anyone know if you can buy extenders so the belt hangs a bit further forwards?
