throttle linkage - idle screw

The thread on the throttle linkage that takes the idle grub screw is striped. Got a new part, all good. However I can't get the old one off; thinking about removing the four allen key studs that hold the inlet housing to give me more lateral space. Any ideas to save me breaking the seal/gasket?
