Hello,

I have the error code for the air temp sensor as it's missing. I've located where it should be on the radiator, and two wires that line up and should be them, but there just cut and taped up.

I've just connected them up and still no reading on the dash.

Do I need to clear a fault code first?

Air temp sensor is the one on the airbox.

Correct, but the one on the airbox just feeds the ECU. The Air Temp sensor for the dash display is at the front of the car -= in the Tamora, behind the number plate, and T350, elsewhere forward?? (sorry a Tam owner!!)

Are you sure you can't find the connector? After a re-spry someone may have taped it up somewhere? It is the same sensor as the oil temp sensor on the oil tank and NOT like the air temp one on the airbox?

HTH's ?

the temp sensor on the airbox feeds the ECU, correct. And it generates a fault in the dash when not connected.
Maybe it helps when you post the fault code.

EDIT: Ah, got it now. You mean the ambient temp sensor, not air temp sensor.

Thanks guys.

It seems they are the connectors, and Ive found the Tamora wiring diagrams so can investigate further at the weekend. The plug fitting for the ambient sensor isn't on the loom, just a couple of spade connectors unfortunately.
