Hi all

My (newly acquired) Tam has 225/40x18 tyres front and rear which I realise is non-standard. Looking at online tyre sites for different front and rear sizes was a bit of a pain so I have created a mini tyre availability matrix (for 18 inch wheels):

Does anyone run any different tyre sizes that I can add? Or recommendations for other tyres of course!

Cheers

Matt

T1 Sport were available in 225/35 when I bought some, and still seem to be available online.

I think you made a small typo mistake, don't you mean Toyo R1R instead of Toyo R888 R?

Personally I love the R1R, grips really good in wet or dry circumstances!

Hi Matt
Doesn't your front 40 profile fowl a bit in the arches

Camskill have 225/35/18 Fronts / in Toyo and Hankook on their website ... Not a bad price either 😉

Thanks all

Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 225/35 added plus Hankook and Yokos. Also 265/35 added, are these ok and the standard width rims?

The Toyo R888R is a new tyre I think. I did see the R1R on the website but I thought is was a race only tyre, certainly the only sizes quoted in new-fangled metric!

Yes they do a bit. They are Syron Street Race, not a brand I know but are a) quite sticky and b) in pretty good condition so I thought I'd "use them up". By the way mine is the chameleon green Tam you did the 1000 mile service on for James a few weeks ago :-)
