I will be viewing both of these soon. Please any advice on which one you would have and why. Both almost the same price.
Cheers.

Same car. You've not linked the Tuscan.

I guess you know what my choice would be, but if you're considering a car in Devon, I'd go a bit further and view this one too, looks a nice car with a warranted 4.3 engine

They both appear to be well looked after on face value - but you really need to drill into the service history to be sure. One mans definition of "full" can be debatable...

With the Tuscan I would see if you can get hold of the reg and talk to Neil Garner about the top end work. I am always suspicious of a top end only rebuild - strikes me as skimping on the additional cost of a full rebuild (just my opinion). I would query what warranty it is sold with as i have never heard of this dealer although they seem to be retailing a few TVR.

I like the idea of talking to the previous owner, so the Tam appeals overall from that perspective.

Niel Garner were one of the biggest TVR dealers in the North West a few years ago.

Just to be clear I was referring to the dealer selling the car "Shmoo Automotive", not Neil Garner who serviced it and are very well known as you point out.

Are you sure about that? Are you thinking of Christopher Neil? or H L Gorner?

They are both fantastic cars, although the Tuscan wins on looks, I think.

One thing to take into consideration if you have a small garage is the fact that the diminutive Tamora is a whole foot shorter than the Tuscan - it also feels more planted on the twisties.

I love the Tamora, well I have to say that as I have had one for almost 7 years. That Tuscan does look good but it's the paint that makes it stand out, red/black whilst attractive is a little conservative. All you need to do is find a Tamora in a flip paint for sale with a 4.3l engine courtesy of Dom and cloud9lick
