Has anyone looked at the Tamora's at Tony Gilbert?

What do you think?

Looks lovely. Tamoras are currently too cheap and must go up in value (a similar age/mileage/spec Tuscan or T350 is £4-7k more)?

I purchased a very nice T350C off Tony and he was good to deal with and his place is great too.

Possibly they are too cheap. However there is one for sale on eBay that is £40k ok it's a "one off" as gap the 4.3 upgrade and was officially registered on a 08 but on the same token it was still built with the last of the run its not the lspower that one lucky ph member has just recently bought. So yes this one off is good but is it £40k good?

I bought my last TVR from TG. Nice chap and very helpful.

On the 40k Tam I can think of one or two second hand sports cars you could get for 40k or 10k less, that might just be a little bit more of a bargain but it's each to his own. Maybe there's someone out there who wants a 4.3 Tam, money no object.

^^^True but at 15 - 20k over the going rate for a standard tam, it's asking a lot just for a 4.3 upgrade and a late reg.But it's not about the asking price it's about what the dealer actually eventually sells it for??

I was thinking of selling my Tamora and looked at Tony Gilbert's site for valuation purposes; I too hope they appreciate because the sun came out the other day and I changed my mind - the Tamora is a strangely beautiful TVR I.M.O although apparently was known as the ugly duckling....? was that because of the back end?

I have grown not to care one jot what others thing about the Tamora. It is what I think, and how it makes me feel, blasting down a twisty country B-Road with the roof OFF, listening to that 4.3 S6 growling through the rev range - this is all that matters.

For me, having the option of taking the roof off is half the fun.

I had the choice of a T350c and a Tamora
I picked the Tamora which I think is a lovely looking car and I can't see why anyone would call it ugly
And you can get a sun tan when the suns out

...exactly my thoughts when I prefered the blue tam and let go that spectraflair silver T350 C which moreover was cheaper. The car I thought for a couple of years I must have. And for all that time I didn't like the Tamora. It's not a car for the first glimpse. I made a good choice and driving my Tamora feels to me like Chris words sound like. Even though I've only got 4.0 liters to listen to. When the roof is down

TBH, I never really had any complaints with the standard 3.6 - The Tamora is a full blooded, out and out sports car, not a grand tourer..

Jonathan, What is the colour on your car? Really suits the car.
I'm on the hunt for a Tam so PM me if you change your mind. I must have changed mine a dozen times over the past 6 months after selling my T350 but TVR ihas never left my thoughts.
