I've always loved the Tamora, and on one of my many idle journeys through the classifieds, I spotted this...

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

Apparently the last ever Tamora made. The ad says all the right things, but £40k?!

Says vaguely "believed built mid 2005 one of the last Tamoras down the line". That degree of salesmanship doesn't command a hefty premium IMHO.

30k less than what the market believes a not exceptional multi owner Sagaris is worth?

Sounds like a bargain to me?

Like the Sagaris seats.

Bargain I reckon with that engine.
Good colour scheme (needs red carpets!) and probably getting on for 15 grands-worth of upgrades on it.
Like that smile

Bargain up against this one ?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...

You're effectively being asked to pay the full retail price of the 4.3 upgrade and Nitrons several years down the line.

Wonder what a very nice 2005 one owner factory built 4.0 car with red rose brakes (front and rear) full leather and carbon roof worth?

Mega proper service history file, other than consumables it's all original and needs nothing smile

Each to their own but red carpets would be a step far too far. Where are all the decent coloured Tams (&T350's for that matter). Seem to be greys/silvery ones are in the majority?

I can say with 100% certainty that this car is NOT the last Tamora made. At least, not at the factory. The last one one rolled off the production line March 2006.

I agree. As far as I'm aware the last Tamora was a metallic green one and that sat in Cicely Continental in Preston (who were TVR's NW 'direct' dealer) for several months if not more than a year after the factory closed along with two Sags and a Tuscan 'vert.

Not according to the emails that I have from the factory; mine was the last one - Reflex Charcoal.

The girls at the factory sent me an email to this effect; I double checked with them for confirmation. Some years later, I had the same message from Racing Green when they were going over old records from the factory.

Ok, not going to argue that one, I guess the one at Cicley's was a stock car and was built before yours, must be close to being one of the last.

I think there were a few that came off in 2006, but some of them sat around for a while as they were not made specifically for a customer order.

Obviously, a fair few were registered after mine.

It's a nice thing to know, as I don't intend to ever sell the car (not as long as I can drive her) but I doubt it would make any difference to the value...

According to howmanyleft, there are 2 x 2007 Tamoras (1 x taxed, 1 x SORN), ditto for 2008, and 1 car registered in 2009 that is SORN.

Probably; they will have been REGISTERED in those years, but not rolled out of the factory. The production line closed in 2006 as far as I know. I could be proven wrong...
