Right. Was at Brands at the beginningof Dec and Tamy just cut out.
Diagnosed it being a fuel issue and the pump was at fault.
Fast forward to now and I have the time to look at this.
Last weekend I went to recheck the basics and the dash was on. No key in the ignition.
The car was very damp with moisture all over the fuseboard and ECU.
Left a fan heater and some moisture bags in it for the week and it appears dry now. The dash is now 'off'.
So on to the non starting. Turns out the fuse was blown. Fine changed. Blew again. Pump relay swapped (Bosch 0 986 AHO 602 - 424). Fuse doesn't blow.
Try to start. Smell of fuel but no fire.
What to check next? Won't be until next weekend.
Not getting the 'warming dielythium crystals' sound when the ignition is on.
I'll check the spark of course but anything else to check?
