Are TVR going to stick to the 500 limit per model?

I'm thinking that by next summer, when my car is 2 years old I may want to replace my T350 with another TVR and right now only the T350 (Targa) floats my boat. The 3yr warranty is a great swayer to me getting another TVR ... I just hope they have a model I want by next summer.

(I do like the Tamora but it's a bit tight inside for lanky gits, the Tuscan 2 is lovely in many ways but has a horrid horrid dash and looks like it's on stilts running with 10 inch wheels).

I've been told by one of the dealers that the 500 limit has been dropped. I found out when I enquired about the numbered plaque when I ordered my Tamora.

I thought that might be the case. TVRs don't seem to be selling that well right now and I reckon any order is probably worth fulfilling.

Would have thought even if they stick to the 500, won't they just bring out a T350 2 like they did with the Tuscan?

Essentially the same car with a few tweaks.

My next TVR will be an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante!

More likely, I'll be getting the next generation Tamora whatever that will be - it'll also be NS's first ground-up TVR, so the design changes could be quite interesting.

I'm interested in the "lanky gits" comments as I test drove both a Tam and a T350T before opting for the Tam. One of the reasons being there was more leg room! Maybe there's some variability between models?

More leg room? They're identical down there, maybe the pedal box on one car was set further back than the other? They are adjustable.

My issue was touching the roof hoop when the hood is up. I was a bit close in my Chimaera, and I was touching it in the Tamora. Removing the cushion helped, but I wasn't confident I wouldnt clout myself on bumpy roads. I went for the Targa as it has more headroom than the coupe.

We're considering a T350T as a replacement for our Chim at some point. I'd be interested in hearing if you find the "wind in the hair" sufficient in the T350T.

I used to have a chim before the cerb and T350T.

I changed the Cerb for the T350T because the roof comes off, almost. I would have tried a Tamora but for the fact it does not have a full cage.

I never dropped the rear section on the chim 'cos I couldn't see anything behind so to me the T350T is very similar to the chim, just lots quicker.

OK, so the roof doesn't come all the way down, but with both panels out there is plenty of wind in the hair IMO. It's not quite the same as a full convertible though, but I like the fact that I'm surounded by a roll cage too.

I would consider a Tuscan 2 convertible if they fix the stupid ugly dash (T350 dials please) and did something to stop the back wheel arches making the wheels look too small.

The rear screen on the Tam folds right down into the space behind the seats, so unlike the Chim, you have good rear visibility. Including in the rear view mirror.
