The pressure for me is generally in the 40-44 range. The temperature depends on how I'm driving it... on the motorway it hovers around 50 but can be 80 or so by the time I've negotiated the twisties and got home.

Ok I own a tamora but they are similar! Temp 70-90c for the oil and the pressure is around 40-50 with 6500 miles on the clock.

Hmm, I have only seen 70 degrees once for the oil temp. On motorways in 5th it can drop below 40. Driving around town it is usually in the 50s. 70 or 80 requires sitting at the lights for a while or really going for it making use of every last degree. Is my car unusual for a T350?

Wow, only once seen mine at 50 in normal conditions and it was -5 at the time!

I guess living in london heats it up as I crawl around in the traffic!

Mine has lowish readings in current weather temps, but lowest on prolonged run was 52. Ran a lot warmer in the summer. Dealer says their demos are similar.

Thanks chaps.

Mines normal then. For some reason I thought those
figures were high especially the psi.

Over anxious maybee, strange really because I have no reason to be, perhaps theres just to much information
on that dash

Oil temp between 60 & 80 deg, but Oil pressure maxes out at 37psi when the oil is hot.. (and oil pressure warning light comes on when your getting near change-up revs..)

Checked with dealer and was told its fine. ("TADTS"), in fact the Sagaris I took out was exactly the same...!!

Sounds a tad low to me, but probably just an adjustment/replacement required on the sender unit as they fail all the time. If your car is under warranty get the dealer to post you a replacement sender (exaggerate the problem to persuade them). Doesnt look to hard to fit yourself. Better to be sure it's the sender instead of running the engine on low pressure IMO.

Its my 7th Sender Unit!!

I fitted this one the last time (got it sent in the post!), and this does seen to be the most reliable so far... Its the new type and so looks a lot different to the origonal ones.

I am sure its reporting a little low (it shows the pressure too low at idle also - 4 to 6 psi), but I'd rather this than too high.

Sorry to bring this thread back up, found it on search for oil pressure question i have:

Ok, 54 T350 just gone in for 6,000 mile service. I have reported issues with oil pressure and water temperature.

Water temperature - reading at 100-115c on almost all journeys over 10minutes and consequently get constant water temp sensor errors. No other "overheating" symptoms noted; water levels fine, both fans working fine. my guess - probably sensor.

Oil pressure - problems with oil pressure particularly when outside temperature is high or when the oil temperature is above 80c. [oil temperature normally runs at about 80-90c on a normal run in traffic]

When oil temperature increases to about 80-90c, the oil pressure drops to around 4-5psi on idle. No issues with low pressure under load. Several instances (with oil temp and outside temp high) of the pressure failing completely and the engine stalling.

Constant oil pressure warnings (when at 4psi or less) needing to be cleared on every drive when the oil temperature goes above 80c.

Oil checked regularly and rarely needs filling. Has not required filling since 1000 mile service.

Not sure on this one - thoughts? more importantly what pressure should i be expecting at idle when the oil is up to 80c?? I want to make sure wheni get the car back it has been properly sorted..

oil pressures on mine are 20-30psi on idle and 50-60psi when driving. Both when at full temperature. These figures seem to be pretty standard judging by what others have said!
I would have said that your really low readings were due to a faulty sender, but that wouldn't explain why it was actually stalling!!
Hope you get it sorted!

Driving around London today, Oil Temp was 95, and Water 97!!! Is that normal?? I am running her in if that makes a difference, done 240 miles...

Should I be worried?

Niro - that's normal. Just make sure you follow the running in instructions in the manual, like warming it up before revving etc., makes a big difference to how sweetly our cars run later

My T350 has oil at 70-90 (more in town) and H2O at up to 95 again in town. Oil pressure hovers around the 45-55 mark dependent on the weight of my right shoe...my car hates idling and gets the right arse if I stop the engine, then start it a few times for instance running chores round town.
