Just trying to diagnose a fault with the heater fans.

Is it easy to replace the parts on the amp?
Could any good auto electrician be able to fix it / test it?
Should I just buy a new one, does Powers do them?

Thanks

It seems that the connectors are not up to the job and melt, as mine did.

I managed to fix mine by ordering a new plug and connectors, and them re-positioning the resistor assembly in the vent area:

I am usually hopeless with electrics, but even I managed to do this!

I cannot remember where I bought the parts from, though..

ETA, I have a couple of links, here is the actual plug:

Connectors:

Nice looking job, much better than kicking around in the footwell.
Did you upgrade the connectors or spec the same as the original?

Cheers smile I cannot remember if the connectors are the same spec or now, I have a feeling they're slightly better to take the load. No problems since fixing and moving the amp though.
