Hello,

We've just heard from TVR's press office that they can't supply a Sagaris for a group test we are planning to do next week, so we were wondering whether any Sagaris owners on PH would consider bringing their car along and joining in the feature. We can cover fuel and other expenses, provide accommodation in Wales, and supply a set of prints of the car as a souvenir. The plan is to run the cars on the road and also at the excellent Anglesey Circuit, so you'll get a free trackday out of it too! We'll happily source a new set of tyres.

If anyone can help, please email me at petert@evo.co.uk

Thanks,
Peter Tomalin, evo magazine

Suspect the problem you may have is that people have only just started picking thier cars up & therefore need to be run in.

Would it be worthwhile speaking to TVR direct or one of the dealers ?

I reckon you'll get somebody. If I had one I'd certainly be up for it, it'd be an honour to have your car featured IMO.

It's worth a go. However, the dealer cars won't really be loosened up yet either. Both black and blue factory Sagarii appear to have covered in excess of 6k miles so will be running on the correct oil and will be beginning to make the power they should...

May be worth asking Mike Clarke the sales manager at dealer HL Gorner, Wigan; theirs may have clocked up enough by now & he's helped with TVR PR events before.

(& if you wanted a recently run-in T350 for comparison, mine's free if I can come along!)

Sorry Peter,

Mine's only done 500 miles just now and isn't going in for its first service until the weekend. There's no way I'm letting your lot get their hands on it until it's properly run in, although it would be great day out, having done something similar with my Caterham 7 for Auto Express a few years ago.

I'd consider almost anything for a job at Evo though.... let me know how desperate you get!

Did you get sorted from the factory, dealership or an individual?

No names have to be mentioned...
